And there ARE other great pop bands around, since LMP seems to promise more releases than we actually put out …

• My Favorite – excellent synthpop band reminiscent of 'Brotherhood'-era New Order. They have a splendid disc coming out soon, which you can get at Double Agent Records.
• Call and Response – to me, they're just the best. Site: callandresponsemusic.com.
• Mahogany – they haven't put anything out in awhile, but they're loads better than Stereolab. You can find em at Darla, Tonevendor, and Simdisc.
• Saloon – also on Simdisc, also better than Stereolab.
• Wire – they're not new, but they're better than everyone combined. Pink Flag is selling their new album with a bonus live disc recorded at the Metro. (Perhaps I can be heard clapping.)
