Though you'd be hard-pressed to hear a DM influence in LMP, the Milkmen most definitely warped my mind, and my songs, as a teenager. They were unafraid to use humor in music (sometimes too much so, sure), and when they were punk, they were as righteously f'n punk as anyone.

I'll be crackin' out 'Big Lizard' and 'Beelzebubba' tonite in Dave's honor.
