Sad news: Syreeta aka Rita Wright has died of cancer. She was one of the best voices in the whole Motown world, and never really got the props (nor label support) she deserved. I was in email contact with Syreeta few years back, and LMP always fantasized about getting her unbeatably sweet voice on one of our records. She will be missed.
