 Great Steak & Potato Co.
The food court at Old Orchard has a surprising paucity of "name" franchises, and that helps the Great Steak there stand out a little better than it might at a typical shopping mall. The service there was surprisingly efficient; the cashier even asked me if I wanted ice in my drink. How did she know that I never get ice in my drink? And she also asked specifically what toppings I wanted on my Great Steak, as I had forgotten to mention that I wanted just cheese. She took care of me, which is what I have come to expect from the greatest of all sandwich slingeries.
The Steak, as usual, was mind-blowingly excellent. As was my Mountain Dew with no ice. And the fries were crisp, salty, and greasy. It really couldn't have gone much better, even if Wayne Newton himself made love to me behind the counter.
Did I mention that a while back, someone got murdered there?
