Taco Bell #3867
Addison & Western, Chicago, IL USA

Taco Bell is a pretty dependable chain, and the store at the corner of Addison and Western only reinforces the idea that you can reasonably expect the same things from most Taco Bells: fair but frazzled service; filling, flavorfully gross food, fairly cheap.

I had a 7-Layer burrito (no cheese or sour cream) and a bean burrito (no cheese), then picked up a Sprite at 7-11 and ate in a park.

The food was good and filling, and prepared quickly with no mistakes. This was one of those "urban" drive-throughs with the turnstyle service window which prevents robbery. The corner is somewhat awkward to access depending on where you're coming from, but I won't blame the baby for the bathwater. (?)

The park, by the way, was pretty nice, and I left just before a creepy guy tried to sit down on my same bench. The Sprite was very good and lasted me most of the night (it was a Double Gulp).

I know my restaurant reviews are slowly morphing into more of a food diary than anything resembling a helpful guide, but then there's only so many ways you can review different Taco Bells before you're just out of "fire."
