![]() Bit-O-Honey
Nestlé's capitulation to the non-chocolate-eating candy-lover crowd, Bit-O-Honey is a very underrated candy by any estimation. Chewy like saltwater taffy, its flavor is a skillful blend of coconut, almond, honey, and sugar. Cinnamon would make it the best thing ever, but even as it is, it's pretty SWEEEEEEEETTT! It comes in bar form, or in bulk form, which is a bit suspicious, admittedly. You have to sort of cast a careful eye at any major label candy that crops up in the same places that circus peanuts and dessert peppermints do. Bit-O-Honey has got to be a favorite of the over-80 crowd, but the under-30 crowd is starting to admit to a tasty crush on this scrumptious tidbit, too. Sanity check: do any of the so-called "crowds" I routinely mention and/or attack actually exist? I didn't think so. Review by La Fée |
