The Universe in a Nutshell (2001)
by Stephen Hawking

Having read and greatly enjoyed A Brief History of Time, I was surprised to discover that The Universe in a Nutshell is either considerably more difficult material, or I'm getting considerably dumber. Though I enjoyed much of this book, especially the parts that attempt to forecast the future of humanity based on current technology trends, I'm left feeling a bit like this:

Me = Chimp on Toilet

Whereas:

Stephen Hawking = Daunting Double Helix
