![]() Marty Haugen Take one part renaissance fair, add large amounts of high school chorus, and sweeten the pot with folky instrumentation. You're in Marty Haugen's kitchen, and the recipe calls for mellow religious beatification. I'm not sure whether this is soothing or so boring as to not even register, but it is pleasant. Lots of forgettable melodies and generic spiritual offerings. The highlight for me was "Taste And See," a midtempo eucharistic pop song. I get so tired of uptempo or downtempo eucharistic pop songs!
