 Joy Division Snarly, grindy, grimy "official boot" of a calamitous 1980 Joy Division show, a companion to the superior Les Bains Douches show from a few months earlier. Monitors short out, vocals get alternately buried and distorted, at one point Ian Curtis shouts out "Everything's falling apart!" The crowd swoons and sways to the gravetone crunge, the band gets palpably furious, and everything catches fire—not like Great White '03, fortunately. Fookin' great. Wish I'd been there.
