![]() Ednita Nazario Ednita Nazario possesses one of the most expressive and dynamic voices in the Latin pop world, though this album is about as forgettable as they come. It's extremely pleasant and in places, almost engaging, but ultimately it's one of the thousands of interchangeable Latin pop albums out there. I mean, a 1994 adult contemporary album from any country is not going to blow you out of your seat. It's hard to pinpoint just what this music sounds like. A couple "rockers," a few ballads, nice moods, pleasant sounds. It's not too far off from Faith Hill, actually, with maybe a touch of Bon Jovi. Slick production, ear-friendly songs, lots of harmonies and those noodly electric guitars doing fills all over the place. Nothing special. Wow, I never realized how much '90s Latin pop and '90s Nashville are similar. Well, now that I know, off this one goes to the used CD shop. By the way, is it a rule that all Latin pop songs have to use the word "corazon?" Review by Babygirl Le Rave |
