Wendigo (2001) • Dewey from "Malcolm in the Middle" is the lead • Chemistry and interaction between "family members" is such that it appears they only met each other that day • Obviously foreign-born actor makes attempt at American accent, sounds like he's got an orange in his mouth • Scenes wherein characters make phone calls come off as audition monologues, mainly in the "how not to" sense • Gratuitous sex scene is just as boring as every other scene • Father character is so irritating that you are pleased when he is unjustly killed • The big scary monster villain is essentially a pile of sticks with a deer head
