Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

As with Sting and Tom Hanks, it's tough to get too excited by a pint of Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, although very few people can honestly say they don't like it. What at one time seemed fresh, novel and a little edgy now seems a tad too popular and accepted.

My mom loves this flavor, for example, although she fears some of the more recent Ben & Jerry's experiments like Urban Jumble.

That said, the flavor itself, of course, is delicious. It is also still synonymous with pure gluttony, which is appealing in itself.

But aesthetically speaking, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough is truly the Starbucks of the ice cream world. Oh, Starbucks already has their own ice cream line? Well, then Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough is the "ER" of the ice cream world. Don't tell me "ER" has its own brand of ice cream?
