Hooray. Somebody's gone done made a documentary about Bruce Haack. For the uninitiated, Haack made great crazy 60s & 70's electronic music usually targeted for kids - often w/ this shuffly, recorded-on-Mars vibe and a shaky robot voice using a (nowadays) impossible to find (and use) Electro-Harmonix vocoder. Akin to songster Rodd Keith, he didn't get his props until after he passed away. Most of his discography is out of print and fetch lofty eBay prices. At one point, his site used to offer a bunch of free mp3 downloads, but they's gone now, Margaret. :-/ Hopefully all of this means extensive reissue project.
