Four minutes before midnight, I completed my solo album for the 'National Solo Album' project (lacunae.com). It's called SOMA SEX DREAMS and contains only all new songs written and recorded during the month of November. I have better material stockpiled, but it was interesting to see what would happen if I just created all new stuff for this record.

13 songs, all original, except for a quasi-cover called 'Cool for Piazza' which uses the music of Belle & Sebastian's 'Piazza, New York Catcher' with the lyric of 'Cool for Cats' by Squeeze. There are some 'proper' studio recordings along with a bunch of cassette/computer experimentation, so the release is a good deal weirder than my usual solo offering.
