Reese's Peanut Butter Cups – White Chocolate Limited Edition

It's only a matter of time before everything in this world has been combined with everything else and we will be left with utterly nothing that is new. Here are some things that I am referring to:

• Pidgin English
• Goober Grape
• Arm-legs
Mountain Dew Code Red

Reese's, supposedly for a limited time only, has released peanut butter cups coated with white chocolate in lieu of the standard milk chocolate.

Interesting? Definitely.

Inspired? Not at all.

Good? If you like white chocolate and peanut butter.

And that's the point. This is a normal peanut butter cup with white chocolate on it. It tastes like peanut butter with white chocolate on it. I don't know what the point of white chocolate even is. It doesn't bring anything to the table that milk chocolate doesn't already provide. It has a smoother texture and may be slightly sweeter, but that in no way warrants a niche product like this, which will not likely make it past this test phase.

If you're at a vending machine and you see the standard cup and the white chocolate cup side-by-side, there is no compelling reason to get the latter, other than the modest novelty value.

But it still has that Reese's peanut butter inside. If I could only say the same about my dear Antonio, I could once again rim him with the passion he deserves.
