Paycheck (2003)

Aptly-named thriller based on a Philip K. Dick story about an engineer (Ben Affleck) who has three years of his memory erased after taking part in a dangerous, top-secret project to build a machine that can predict the future. He must then go on the run to rescue his own, and the world's, future, from the hands of a nefarious CEO.

The movie must have rubbed off on me, because I found myself consistently able to predict the future—scene after utterly banal scene, line after paint-by-numbers line of dialogue.

Fortunately, as I left the theatre, I discovered my memory had also been wiped … of the preceding two hours. Scary, huh?
